The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements secure youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse, across the country. With us at SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. SiS LVM Home Lunden receives women with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We accommodate clients with mental health issues and clients who need medical care. We operate in Lund.
Job Description
Do you want to help create the life-changing difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients to new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and safety of our clients, and you are responsible for the foundation of daily life, such as activities, cleaning, cooking, and more. You help maintain order and safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building secure relationships and contribute to ensuring that our clients receive the safety and security they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment pedagogues and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

The working hours are according to your and the organization's needs: Day, evening, weekend, and also night. You will make yourself available in our booking system (after you have completed the introduction, theoretical and practical training, and shadowing).
We will have mandatory introduction on March 18 and 19 - full days.
Qualifications
Your personal suitability is key to life-changing transformation. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of people, great empathy, and the ability to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.
You should also have:
- At least a 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) or other education that corresponds to this. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.
- Driver's license (B)
- Good Swedish in speech and writing

Employment:
We are looking for several new need-based employees and we are happy to recruit from our base of successful need-based employees for permanent employment.
Tests and work samples may be included in the recruitment process.
